Would you call the love a father has for his son homosexual?
It may be a correct term but is not one used in our culture other than to portray a lifestyle of a sexual nature. Try reading the Psalms to see a glimpse of the love David had for God, so you can be a little more objective in your views of him. You seem to approach this with more preconceived opinions than the believers here.
