PBS had a special called inside china last night. Unbelievable. Anyone who thinks we are at the top of the bull market does not understand what is going on. They are reconstructing their whole country. 50 billion dollar aqueducts to bring water from the south to the dry north which would be perfect for crops like Calif imperial valley. They are very concerned about pollution and they know they need to revamp everything and will need huge amounts of metals and power to do it. But they are on it like no other country in the world I know of. But I have always had a special place in my heart for the chinese, Japanese and asians in general. Look at what the Japanese did in a couple of decades sitting on two bare rocks---2nd largest economy in the world. Just like the Japanese the guys they interviewed were smart and really saw the big picture. They are trying to end poverty for everyone and make their country an environmental showcase. My bet is that they will do it. GDP last year over 11% and India at 9%.
