Thanks again Toby. I just started reading the Elder book and my Dad was supposed to track down the Markstein book at the library since he's over there a lot...but so far he keeps forgetting! I bought JAN options on LGTO and could have cashed out for a decent profit when it jumped up over 65 a few weeks ago; instead of selling I was expecting an earnings run (I thought Jan 14) but then found out next week was earnings. I ended up taking a loss (yeah, I know that should never happen).. But, I rolled out and up on the options and bought the stock. I'm still cautiously optimistic that anticipation of good earnings might give it a jolt. Also, OptionInvestor has identified LGTO as a split candidate. I"ll probably keep the stock regardless and bail on the options if I don't see any strength early next week. I'll check into QLGC too; I'm also long AOL with a big portion of my bucks.
