Mark, let's trying another way of analyzing msft. Let's assume that any msft's gains are someone else loss. Msft has killed Lots, novl and many others to achieve its accelerated growth. Now when msft has almost killed everyone else in the ms plateform, how can msft achieve the same growth? Killing itself? Exactly, it is developing and giving away the free staff to create a complete new market. By the time this new market is materialized, msft will not continue its success. Given msft's success in the past, it is no doubt a great long term investment. But in the short term, it is a great stock to buy puts. Happy trading Michael
