>>Earning this qarter DOES NOT matter. wallstreet is looking at least 6 month ahead.<< dj, you can always hope. however, don't be too optimistic. sridhar said the same thing when mu was $55+. since mu made a beeline for 422, i'd say he was slightly mistaken ;-) however, you might be right. it is impossible to gauge just now. with dram at $2.25 RIGHT NOW and mu sitting on the motherload of inventory, the next 6 months look like a $100 million in losses. why pay 433 for that? this company can turn night into day, though. at least to the intellectually impaired. what is the dfinition of ii? if you believed at any point during 1997 that mu would make over $2.00 in 1998 then you are ii. -$2.00 would have been closer ;-)
