Hi Tom.

I created the break point to give myself a neutral zone. It is derived in a similar fashion as the pivot is. I did this because there were too many false signals generated by watching the index go above and below the pivot (by theory these are bullish and bearish signals).

My neutral zone is b/t the Break & Pivot. When the index moves above BOTH, we are in a bullish trend. When we are below BOTH we are in a bearish trend. As you know I wait for a confirm from the futures. Without the confirm, I have also found a number of false signals generated.

I'm working on 2 new angles that seem very promising and need to be tested. Although it sounds like I use dozens of formulas and pieces of data, I believe my system is actually very simple.

Hopefully this new research will pay off as well...
