Navigator is more RAM-hungry than Netscape likes to admit.
How much memory are you allocating to it?

I find the 9mb 'preferred' default to be pretty
inadequate. Bumped mine to 18mb and am pretty stable.

The basic stuff helps, too -- i.e. trashing NSCP prefs.

Also, which proc speed is your 9500, and what sys version
are you running?
