HOLD ON THERE PEOPLE.... I think my light-hearted story was taken way too serious for some of you. The audience putting up their hands to the question posed to them was "In JEST". They were not making a serious decision that this was an effective way to respond to a denial of service attack. It was only a light-hearted story with a humorous ending. The audience was not stupid and didnt think that the bug in BM's code was an effective response to stop denial of service. They (as do I) know that the DofS hacker would likely not be affected and it would wreaked even more havoc on the Internet and on innocent victims. I guess I will have to avoid telling light-hearted stories. Toy
