Exactly LIG, if you didn't catch my post on this subject earlier, let me just say that the 19 Billion NT wrote off was inventory not yet sold or deemed obsolete as did many other companies. They paid billions more for purchases(remember Arrowpoint) or as is the case with JDS (Uniphase): OCLI, ETEK, SDLI....
The next wave of slash and burn comes when these companies take the ax to valuations on recent acquisitions. This will come with in the next 3-6 months.
