Word on the street is that JDSU's write-down is imminent.

Don't hold me to this but I seem to recall hearing about something in the range of a 45 billion write-down possible at JDSU. Most of this is already reflected in the stock price and the rest will be in the price when (not if) JDSU hits the 5 - 8 range.
