I agree that ASND probably doesn't really want to sell below $40. However, if we take it at face value (per Maria B) that ASND countered LU's offer of $35 with $40, then how could that happen? Well, if we run to $40 by Friday and Ascend announces a stock swap agreement after the close....we will be shit out of luck Monday....but LU stock is very good stuff. but that would kill the effect of their good earnings announcement on Tuesday<vbg> Jeff
