You can "never be more acceptable" than you were the first day you believed in Christ as your Lord and Savoir. It is great to want to please him and to improve in His image as He begins to see more and more of Himself in you BUT...do I ever love that word ,but. It truly is all about God. Lay down your heavy yoke my friend. HIS burden is 'light' and 'easy'. Take on the labor of love and of joy and of peace; ( Isn't God a hard master to burden us with love , joy, and peace ) James. Start speaking to that back. Does the rest of you feel good ? I have a foot like that . I can go for a jog and my foot starts hurting and all I can do is limp..it stops me cold . I say.
