To All:

What I have described in my previous post is what we call Spring Breakup. It happens every year. Once the plant becomes more mature this will be a non event but this year I suspect it was a mess. It's like when you build a new house there is always a mess around for the first few years. To make matters worse we had a lot of snow last year so the problem is worse then usual. The problem with clay is that water doesn't drain through it. The water must evaporate. Clay makes an excellent base for a road (paved) but without lots of gravel it is almost impassable when wet.

Just my opinion and thoughts but I suspect it's a (partical at least) reason for the layoff.
