AG, I don't usually do market picks and I don't even know what I'm going to do over the next 2 weeks, so this is just a SWAG. Suckers' Rally to old highs on the Dow and Nasdaq, leading to a dull period and the crash after the election. The reason why is that bulls want to buy no matter what reality is telling them. Apple will come back, but it will come back from much lower stock prices. DEC is losing whatever cache it had when it was recommended by a certain gray haired yahoo in a magazine. The business looks sicko for Dec. Sun has a history of shooting itself in the foot and the workstation market has a history of leapfrogging with great competitors. You don't buy the workstation company in first place, you buy the ones likely to leapfrog. So, I'd prefer HWP and SGI here to SUNW. But I don't like any of them with NT 4.0 invading their territory. It ain't much, but it is only the first shot across the Unix bo2. I like oil companies in foreign countries, Elf and YPF are my favorites. I think exploration cos. have been bid up too high. MB
