re: Imagine if a hurricane was to blow through with its multiple inches. Most of Florida drains real well. So long term flooding isn't a problem... now the storm surge is a different matter. It appears El Nino has spared us with it's Caribbean wind shear, coupled with a strong Bermuda high; all the significant hurricanes have been "fish".
