Yeah, I've posted occasionally about Proteolix and Nereus compounds. How closely are you watching these folks? Should MLNM try to get them both? I kept wishing they'd munch Kosan . . . Susan Molineaux, that name seems familiar . . . ah ha, she's from Rigel (and Praecis before that), and so is the VP of Research. Her husband heads up development; looks as though they might have met at Johns Hopkins; they had avoided working together until now. Unclear to me how much experience these folks have in the clinical/regulatory area, seems to be mainly the CMO. As such, she's probably the manager Proteolix can least afford to lose.

It is unclear to me if these private companies are any farther along with their compounds than MLNM is with their second generation proteasome inhibitor. I mainly post stuff pubcrawler dishes up; I haven't had a position here for a while and am not current.
