That is another one. This administration has sabotaged every reasonable path to energy independence. Thus playing into Iran's hands. Explain to me why no one is calling them on their treason? People did at the beginning when they were proposing the invasion of Iraq......but the administration effectively neutralized any accusations. Hell, in the beginning, I didn't believe it was all about the oil............at least for a short while I bought off on the notion it was about taking down Saddam/getting revenge for 9/11. In the beginning, I think it may have been easier for you to have seen through their spin......after all, you've had some experience with them when Bush was governor. I don't know how to say this without sounding too naive but I have never seen this kind of blatant twisting of the facts and the flagrant exploitation of people's ignorance. To me these people aren't Americans. Its like some weird scifi movie where another race has taken over by pretending to be human. That's the way it feels to me.
