I think that your comment proves my point though, the margins are in the blades, not in mfg. of the drives, esp. when you start to do the OEM deals.

I'm afraid that deals such as the TDK one will hurt some of the profit assumptions.
Users may buy several to dozens of "blades" but not necessarly from IOMG.
I even question how many discs most users will buy
I myself work with "only" some 240M and purge old files from time to time ... I say this although I have a "spare" 1Gig drive, Syquest 270,and used tape backup some 5-7 years ago.
But then I started back before floppies and may have developed some "bad" habits (G)
