Chris,

Techie is right, you are wrong:

1) Two way cable will probably not happen because
of xDSL--there are alot of issues (security and otherwise)
with regards to upstream on coax. Most liekly, upstream will
be handled by copper, and downstream will be handled by coax.
So cable alone will probably not handle the internet market--
you will need upstream from copper.

Also IMHO, the real killer app for bandwidth is not VOD or
Internet Access, but Video Communications. Again, the upstream
for this will probably be short-distance copper.
