Also I read month ago in information week that new Oracle8 will not work with SAP because of SAP's lack of support for Oracle8's object layer. I have not heard that the two companies have worked out a solution since. I believe if Oracle ends up deciding against supporting SAP on Oracle8, it will be a big blow to SAP.
