Re: 144 stock
You're right. It appears that, in aggregate, about 200,000 shares were registered for sale (and likely sold) in the past four weeks by 12 pre IPO investors. No officers, no directors.
Re: Saab/Ericsson
What caught my attention in the press release was the secondary, but equally important, assertion that Ericsson Saab would jointly develop commercial applications of Microvision's technology, beyond the strictly military. For example, "The parties have also agreed to jointly explore the development of other wearable or portable devices (targeting) industrial and commercial markets." And "Ericsson Saab Avionics will further draw on its parent company's broad experience in military and commercial markets for telecommunications and other computing devices."
Appealing directly to MVIS for enlightment, I wondered if after this announcement there was now a photo of an Ericsson cell phone on the wall (next to Saab's Gripen, of course). Utter silence. No reply. (Apparently, no respect either! Hello, Rodney!!!)
This silence leads me to believe that: a) MVIS's engineers (those pizza loving, pencil wielding tricksters) had staged a palace coup and proclaimed, "No humor, unless its good!" Or b) that proverbial cat has caught everyone's tongue up there.
All we can do is speculate.
