Part of the Turkmenistan route is presumably the Black Sea. It should be able to be shipped directly to Turkmenistan through the Straights of Bosporus. Thanks to the second highest and longest tunnel in the world it could be delivered by truck to Kabul. Northern Afghanistan is still pretty rough.

Increasing the traffic through Northern Afghanistan should be good for the local economy. It would give incentive to improve security in the region.

A side benefit of shipping to Turkmenistan is it would establish a long term challenge to the Russian desire for hegemony over the Black Sea.
