Interesting.Went to iNEXT and watched a few. Checked the real player stats, and Hugh was encoded at 15...Shari at 20. Then went to ESPN and checked a few videos and also some "audio only" clips. Their smaller picture was encoded at 36. Even their audio streams at 33. Unless I am mistaken ( always a strong possibility) iNEXTV is recently sacrificing picture quality -- still watchable -- for what should be a pretty dramatic reduction in streaming costs.More than fair tradeoff. I generally would still rather see theirs encoded at 20 than espn's etc encoded at 36.
