Marginal differences in gross or marginal differences in anticipated growth are making a difference. For example, if you shave a couple of percentage points in anticipated growth and/or the actual gross from many firms you get trouble with the projected bottom line. Trading volumes are down and the marginal drop from electronic brokerages are making a difference. Should the market take a serious drop NITE will go along with it. Should the market trade flat thats not good news either. Tough to get growth with flat. ECN's moreover, seem to take away margin and maybe volume from NITE. Also the NASDAQ's overtures toward handling their own trades are not helping. With such uncertinty its tough for NITE to hold value in a declining market. Is the volume decline a consequence of seasonal factors or in fact are electronic traders backing away because they can't make money in this market? In summary, internet trading has made a whopping difference for NITE on the upside and when its soft its causing a decline.
