This is just the situation to shy away from. Such a customer will dearly love to incorporate cheap, commodity chips into its product and will take special pains to multiply source its requirements and drive the price toward commodity pricing. The customer's "huge growth" will attract many willing suppliers, each arrogant enough to believe it has the best chip and will capture the lion's share of the "huge" market.
