Ummm, if you saw something you wanted to buy cheaper down the street at Wal-Mart or Target, would you buy it? Would you be a traitor to Safeway or Albertson's or K-Mart if you didn't buy it at full price? Your argument is extremely weak, and I think you'd be surprised by who shorts stocks in any stock market! Do you not think there is not one military person shorting a stock in the stock market? Would you consider them traitors also? If you sell a stock are you a traitor? Why not go buy all the stock your cash reserves can and be a good patriot like Custer and get slaughtered? Are you holding full positions, or did you sell ANYthing? It takes two ponies to drive this buggy.
