We cannot kick down enough doors, nor kill enough opposition leaders to win either war.

That's why I wish we had killed off Al Qaeda and got out. Now we are stuck. The only people with an interest in the Afghan/Pakistan area are Iran, China and India. The Punjabis are about 45% of the Paks, and run Pakistan. If push comes to shove in a tribal war with the 15% Pashtuns, the Punjabis will win. They won't let the Pashtuns get control of the nukes. The Pashtuns are almost all Deobandi Sunnis. Deobandis are Salafi Muslims. Saudi money has paid for all the Taliban, who are Pashtun Deobandi Salafi Jihadists.

Punjabis are Moslim, Sikh, and Hindui. The Muslims are not as "Salafi" as the Pashtuns, therefore not as Islamist.

India doesn't want to run the place. The four wars with them by the Paks were all started by the Paks. But they won't let the Islamists get control.
