Minnesota faces a projected shortfall of $4.6 billion over the next two years, a problem that would be worse if not for federal stimulus money.

The one that will be fascinating to watch is California. They have a humongous deficit and will soon vote on a number of ballot measures that will raise taxes even more (already about the highest in the nation). Current polls showing them all going down to defeat.

Blue state revolt? Massive debt and looming bankruptcy? What will the wacko, loony left left CA legislature (current approval rate, 11%) and Governor "girly man" do? As goes CA, so goes the nation?

We can watch and learn...
