From the atheist site per google....Some people evidently feel it was "just a piece of metal, like all girders are..." For most of us, finding the Cross buried in the rubble was a sign that we would survive this and all other such attacks....Perhaps most people will feel this way...

A Cross hung upside down, just as if our Flag is upside down, or worse, being burnt in protest of whatever, is just a sign to me that the symbol is under siege. My mind elevates that symbol to it's rightful place, and is another reminder to me that very evil people caused this disaster.
