all: have been out of the loop lately; not even following the thread - over 500 posts behind. have missed the chatter and the humor but a couple of things have caused me a slight refocus. one is the warmer weather. have poured a veranda, a walkway and a porch extension and tiled. once it gets into the 70's here, and the nocs above freezing, it's stone and concrete weather. i rather regret not being more cerebral, but it is the things i do with my hands that i live by. let me dry stack a section of cobble wall and i am living. the other change is that i just absolutely had my fill of sitting at the screen on the edge of my seat, babbling to private rock, who lives on top of the monitor. (she'll never let me get a flat screen) i am not by nature a trader, but i end up trading due to impatience and frustration. i realize that i have to maintain a center. for me that center right now is following what hays is saying and playing this his way. i sold all my euro bonds and went 100% into a whole mess of stocks the day the dow hit 9100. have been up and down since then, but hanging in. i am not perma-anything but will ride this bounce, hopefully!, until hays says to bail. not following the mkt. has really been rather nice. have been able to cut my prozac dose in half and stop the valium altogether. reason i am spouting all this is that i was really touched to get an email at home wondering if i was ok. as a newbie and a peripheral sort of contributor i figured my lapse would go pretty well unoticed. my best to you all until i get back into reading the thread. would much rather pull up a stool and have a beer with you all. alive and hanging in the hi lonesome, don
