From MJ---posted also on the Obama Had Enough Thread?

Subject: Notre Dame Graduation of 2009

As everyone on this board knows, Mr. Obama has been invited to give the Graduation Speech to the Graduates of Notre Dame on Sunday. His being invited to give the commencement speech has created major opposition amongst students, alumni, and Americans who choose life over death of our future citizens.

Local Fox News showed brave Americans as they walked for the future of this nation-----walking for the right of children to be born rather than killed-----and in opposition to a pro-abortion President speaking to the Notre Dame Graduation of 2009.

As described on the news, Americans walked around the outside of Notre Dame showing their support for the lives of our unborn citizens.

Very poignant was a man who had fought in WWII walking for the human right of life----just as he had stood up for the lives of others in WWII. Walking slowly with his sign, the police approached-----he fell to ground in silent peaceful protest and was wrapped in a blanket and carried away.

What Fox did not report on are the alternate graduation ceremonies that have been reported on the net for students who object to Mr. Obama's being allowed to speak at their graduation at Notre Dame because of his opposition to the view of the Catholic teachings for the respect of life.

Perhaps Fox doesn't know. I doubt that----let's see if they cover both events.

A clip of Obama showed him stating pompously on the evening news that his viewpoint is the "concensus" viewpoint of Americans.

How does Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama explain his determining of a concensus?

Does he know what a concensus is and is not? A concensus rarely ever has the support of the majority of those present----in fact a concensus is used most often to give a minority a voice in the decision making. Is Mr. Obama telling us that his viewpoint is the minority viewpoint?

Most organizations that try concensus find that they go to a vote under Parliamentary Procedure to determine the majority opinion as concensus opinion gets bogged down and is not representative of the majority.

I say to Mr.Obama, there is no majority consensus and you know it----there is no consensus that has been determined in any way nor has it been determined under Parliamentary Procedure.

I say let's put the questions on unnatural abortions to the people and let us vote state by state.

In the meantime, I invite him to examine the following:

What if your mother had decided that you were a mistake, an unwanted pregnancy, and chose to abort you?

What if your daughters decide to abort your grandchildren because you don't have the courage to stand up for what is good and honorable?
