Trump's supporters are pretty violently for Trump and very aggressive- so I wouldn't expect most people to tell them to their face that they are insane. If you had one of these folks in your family, you'd not, tell them they'd made good points, and sign with relief when they went home after Sunday dinner- and vote your conscience secretly- against Trump :-) I'm a democrat and I don't want to deal with them. Too much ugly there- and so willing to share it, and spit while they do it. Who wants to deal with that? Avoidance. Avoidance of conflict is the key to a long and happy life. If you absolutely have to change something, then find an intelligent and sneaky way to do it that does not involve direct conflict. So much better.
