PS: my 2+ year old Dell laptop screen is pink when first turned on, but this clears up in about 20 seconds. It also happens after the screen goes to sleep [power saving mode]. The pinkishness started about half a year ago. I seldom turn that machine off, so it's not a biggie for me.
