To be perfectly honest Gary, it doesn,t, in the sense of being the final or even semifinal arbiter of an investment decision.It is just something of interesting historical value to read in the morning with the morning papers over a cup of coffee. It puts you in spiritual connection gg with " all those investors who went before us and suffered the same roller-coaster.Occasionally there are some statistical impressions that you could log on lightly perhaps, rather than putting your finger to the wind gg. What are very nice though I think are the daily words of wisdom for investing which I think in and by themselves are sufficient reason to buy the Almanac. I use it also as record keeping. I tape in it all the multiple trading info that appears is condensed form in Invest bus daily, charts, tables, stats, stock graphs from IBD of stocks I am interested in, trends etc all arranged in chronological fashion that is easy to flip to.It organizes/anchors your thinking so that you don't go by memory alone. Essentially it becomes a reference manusl for your investing activity. TA
