Thanks for the reply's :) well here is what I did to get rid of pink screen

1) reinstall ME
2)made sure everything was correct in Display (control panel)
3) now , some other problems occurred
4) could not connect to the internet with lan connection
5)other programs would not load = run
6)loadqm error message kept on popping up when trying to run programs
7)kernell32.dll error message
8)msobe error message , when programs try to start up
9)ran ad-aware , and notice 2 bugs in the deep registry system , deleted them :)
10) ran msconfig , and did uninstall startup programs that were reinstalled after reinstalling ME
11)did another rerun of msconfig and reinstalled start up programs and deleted someothers and "IT WORKED"
12) now its back to trial and error on which programs in the start up in msconfig which caused this grief and to get rid of them

BACK TOO NORMAL "YAHOO" for the time being
