How awful. You just don't have that sort of stuff happen with knives. "Here look at my new knife..." stabs self- I don't think I've ever read a story like that. There may be one, but it's rare. This kind of crap with guns happens all the time. Ok- there's a Darwinian element to it, but the poor police, and the medics- they've got to clean up this stuff, and you know it affects them negatively.
