Greg - Cyrix's Yield Rates A Wild *SS Guess - 10%. As Elmer pointed out, it is not certain whether these are speed related or hard (DOA) failures. Either way, National Semiconductor will eat the cost - come November. In fact, when NSM takes over, look for a substantial write-down on this Cyrix takeover. I suspect that it will all come to light around Q1/Q2 of next year when the NSM accountants arrive in Richardson and go over the books, unsold inventory, etc. You heard it here.
