Hear Here!! Dear Still Jaded.. Irish Rovers -- place were I work (Yonge & Eglinton - Just east of Yonge on Eglinton), there is a Pub that boasts "Irish Rovers Free House" HAR HAR!! This really brings up an important issue which my friend may help me solve - I am wondering when I switch to Satellite, say ExpressVU, am I going to be inundated with Bell commercials or will I see Ann Murray pitching Snow Birds on CNN during the "cable" commercial breaks? Rogers has a good monopoly going. I am surprised how Bell hasn't countered with better / equal bundling to compete. After reviewing their page - yes they have DSL + Satellite now - but not soooo flexible. Makes no mention of "Ultra" DSL; you are forced to be in a 12-24mth contract.. But to constantly hear smell and taste Ted (sort of salty..) is just getting to be overload for me. Unfortuntately my home is TV dependent - aka My wife in the living room watching her show; my 5 yr old on the CPU watching his show; my 1 yr old in the kitchen (finally CALM) eating and watching his show in the kitchen.. and myself - would be in front of a TV if there wasn't so much to read on SI/iHUB. (Har har). Moving to satellite would be expensive proposition - and the jury is still out how many times it would be down due to poor weather. Like Friday's tropical storm NOT - could I have been watching CNN or not? My thought was to drop to (BASIC cable + CNN package) + (SATELLITE w/everything). But that is a serious monthly draw -- but seeing as we watch it so much, it might be worth it. Regards Still Jaded... And To Ted - and your other eye too..
