ICe and all: non-kook subject? Intel...

I just had to show this to someone as an example of totally off the wall analysis...

>>Rodman & Renshaw Inc said Tuesday it cut INTEL CORPORATION to
neutral from buy. Rodman also cut its Intel EPS estimate for 1997 to $8.75 from $9.25 and 1998 to $10.00 from $11.00. Rodman cited news reports of an alleged flaw in Intel's new Pentium microprocessor. "Assuming these reports are correct, we expect that Intel will take very aggressive steps to correct the flaw," Rodman said. "These steps will likely include replacing approximately seven million Pentium Pro processors already shipped, for an estimated cost of $2.1 billion ($300 each) or about $1.50 per share."
