Paul, our Precious and wonderful and glorious and powerful and most beautiful of all things created Lord Jesus Christ is truly to be praised. He is the Glory of the Father, indeed. He did not drop down on a cloud. Like us, He was created, and totally and absolutely and once and forever IN HIS FATHER'S IMAGE. A perfect example of easily it can be done with the help of the Holy Spirit of the Living God. But He left on a cloud. Full view, with people watching so stunning the angels actually said, why are you standing there with your mouths hanging open? And I imagine they might have been most wonderously amused at the moment, especially since they had watched from Heaven as Jesus was pulled out of the pasture and brought to the slaughter house slowly but surely. It must have been too wonderful to have it all over and have Him back home.
You know the hit song last year, "What if God was one of us? Just a slob like one of us, trying to make it back home, on the 9 o'clock bus..." Or something like that.
Well, He was and they viciously murdered Him in various heineous and painful stages. I'm very sorry she didn't add that. IT would have been a great teaching tool for the new crop of blood drinking little pagans satan is growing out there--that we do nothing about because we are horrified. (In my case lazy and without a clue as to where to begin, except here in prayer.)
But back to wonderful things. Much like once upon a time and long ago, I find myself again ALMOST losing all interest in silly and worthless and boring little things of this world, just to have more of Him. This is not that significant unless I would confess here that in February of 1992 I stood in my living room and under a strong and frightening feeling of condemnation and need for repentance I actually shouted to Him through the ceiling that I would never, ever, ever go back to nothing but church and Bible reading again, that I could never live that boring life again and I had already done it too much to begin with and I didn't think it was a normal life to begin with from my new perspective of worldly fun. And truly I was having so much pure fun I look back now and think I'm almost making it up myself.
This is a very embarrassing confession, and I make it here in case anyone can use it for themselves passing through. I cannot and will not share the process which made me "reevaluate" my thoughts on this matter, but I would warn anyone to go no farther after you know you have received very serious warnings from desperate angels who know you are about to be cut loose from divine protection for your own good, since it is the last stage that will save you. Being utterly abandoned out there in satan's kingdom.
Very scarey place without the Lord. Lots of very, very dangerous people, too. To, to those who pass by that feel they are out there at the end of the length of the rope, it is time to begin to consider the consequences of following a huge happy crowd on their drunken and drugged way to hell. Or a huge crowd of non-drugged and non-drunken sinners, nowhere near as rowdy and fun as the chemically altered sinners, and also on their way to hell.
It seems there is very little in between, as satan has infested lives with filth not possible before in the history of mankind.
May the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, which is the Soul of God the Father, slam this wicked and dying country with the undeniable Presence of God which instantly and forever changes lives for eternity. May the Righteous totally come to Life and may the wicked continue to bring upon themselves the curses of Deuteronomy 28, laid down from the beginning of the second go-around of man and God. And may they come to know that they, themselves, have created the horror of their lives, and the emptiness that follows that nothing can fill.
But Jesus has overcome the world and all that it can throw at anyone at anytime in history. He is our strength, our shield, and our sword of protection. He is also closer than a brother. I praise the name of the Living God and of His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who are one in the same. But the Lamb will have the earth again as His own for a time, the scripture shows us, and whatever it takes to be here with Him will be more than worth it.
At one time I didn't understand this, and thought it seemed unlikely.
Now that I love the earth and the Creation more than ever as it slowly disappears, the New Heaven and the New Earth are beginning to make more sense to me than ever.
It's all in the words of Jesus, buried there. All of the hints are there. Every last detail we need came out of His mouth. |
