Nick:
GT has exclusive rights to "publish"(they'll more than likely distribute it too) Unreal, & a "sequel" and has a option for Sony Playstation, Sega Saturn, & Nintendo 64 platforms !! In addition, GT obtained the rights to Unreal Ed , a proprietary 3D authoring tool. GT may also utilize the specially designed Unreal engine to create "5" additional premier software titles. This last clause in the agreement, along with GT's acquisition of Off Word Entertainment ( Odd World Inhabitants) back in Nov. is extremely interesting and exciting !!! GT now owns 2 software development companies, one of which( Odd World Inhabitants), specializes in 3D 32-bit game products, they have the rights to Unreal Ed. and permission to utilize the Unreal engine to create (develop) "5" games !!! GT wouldn't have to split the profits on any of the games created,as they'll be developer, publisher, and distributor all in one.IMHO,given time GT will become a software developing/publishing/distributing powerhouse in the same league as Electronic Arts or Sierra, and command a share price and market attention reflective of this. This of course is just one man's opinion.
Cheers
Bill
