first off the fed has been proactive, we've had 6 rate cuts so far this year...second if you believe in the the inflation data spoon fed to us then we have no inflation..but if you open your eyes you'll see a direct correlation ot the expanding money supply to real world inflation ie: natural resources, housing, food etc...remember, some of those components are excluded from the data, but does that mean their not significant?..i for one believe an easy money policy will just continue the funneling of mal investments in companies that will never make a dime..it continues to this day...look at the new round of investment capitol that went into some pos companies lately...those companies need to fold and let the strong competitors survive.
