I think it is a good thing. Chirac is at least awake. They have taken a principled stand against anti-semitism. They are try to deal with islamic radicals regarding dress in school and i understand the motivation although it would never fly here. Each democracy a bit different. And as far as Haiti, they helped make the mess and should help in french language nations. My wish is that europe becomes tougher so i welcome this development. I want there to be leaders of the free world. I dont want the US to be the only world policeman etc etc. mike
