Currently the only reason I use my debit card is to get cash out of the machine.

Same here. Most of us know which credit cards have good support and which don't. I use AMEX all the time because Costco accepts only that card. Plus, their Internet site is the easiest to use. Chase is a disaster, and BofA is the worst if you are not banking there. Other's here have different experiences.

We are all jumping the gun here. It will take a year or so for this card business to shake out. Groups they needed high interest from will be closed out. That's not us. Nicking us for fees will simply drive us to other cards or to our debit cards.

Those of us who pay on the nail every month are the ones they want to keep. Because enough of us will run up a balance once in a while to make up for the rest of the time.
