"You are wrong about tape. Tape is the cheapest and most reliable archival medium. It is growing exponentially in the Enterprise market and now in low end PC and so on."

We disagree. I work in the entertainment industry (I write and direct feature films), and the ENTIRE INDUSTRY is leaving tape in the dust and going TOTALLY digital.

We leave in a day and age when people are NO LONGER buying audio cassettes, the're buying CDs. A world where KODAK (a hard copy company with their film) is NOW selling DIGITAL CAMERAS.

EVERYTHING is running away from tape, film, or anything "material," and going digital or in disk format.

Sorry. Just the way it is.
