Lieberman is a special case. He's a democrat who's also getting almost all the Republican votes because the GOP candidate there is a total loser. Boy did Lieberman luck out. So he will probably win, but hopefully he will have learned a lesson. Mr. Lieberman is getting votes from dems and independents as well as Republicans. The GOP governor is ahead in his race. This is hardly a testament to your claim that the NE is getting bluer. BTW, on every issue but Iraq Lieberman seeems OK. He is very strong on the environment for instance. Don't give me political pablum. Lieberman is an asshole....plain and simple whether he's a Dem. or a GOPer or an Independent. It's too bad if he can't be replaced, but that's not a GOP win. It's just not a progressive win. Read my lips.....its a GOP win.
