"AN INFORMANT FOR THE McCARTHY HEARINGS" From what I saw, he spoke up for people to have their opinions, even if against America. Said democracy was strong enough to handle it. Why is that offensive to you? I suspect it is not, and that you are just venting your hatred for the man, and what he stood for.
