You must expect IBM to be pushing the thin client, for its AS400 was a cash cow (yet INTC and wintel are making significant inroads into thier territory as well).

<The irony is that the so-called paradigm shift to network computing may pump new life into old equipment, rather than inspire sales of new NC hardware. Watkins wants to run Java-enabled Citrix software on old 286 and 386 PCs to turn them into Windows NT clients.>
