It warns about three different cases:
In individuals

1. with known heart disease,

2. a family history of sudden unexplained death consistent with cardiac arrhythmia,

or

3. who are already taking medicines that can prolong the QT/QTc interval,
....


The third case is the one you note. And obviously, drug interactions are always important. But the other two cases are relevant as well. And those are ones that I have read about elsewhere. I had a professor many years who went into the hospital for back surgery and died on the table because he had a heart condition that no one knew about and the anesthesia induced a heart attack. That is the kind of thing that I have read can happen in some people who are taking hydroxychloroquine, as well as a few other bad conditions that need to be monitored.

What I don't understand is that they can say the above on page 37 but seem to say the opposite on page 36. Very peculiar.
