Robert, "Pump and Dump" are not always exploited by insiders, and not always "directly" by insiders. To determine what is happening you need more transparency. Two years ago, or so, there was what IMHO was a P&D, it involved Hoare which used the excitement created by the 450 ton test (which turned out to be a failure) to dump a number of shares (according to the then fearless leader CL). Someone used to post institutional ownership in this stock, and I wonder if that has changed markedly during the recent decline. It would particularly interesting to see how much selling was carried on from the hype that drove the stock to 14 last year and then the rebounds from the 4 to 8 and then to 6 later in the year.
